RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Wizard World Richmond Comic Con is starting today and lasting throughout the weekend.
As part of the festival, several celebrities are in town, including “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star James Marsters.
Marsters came by 8News today to discuss the event and what it’s like meeting fans one on one and talking about his work.
The Wizard World Richmond Comic Con runs from 3 – 8 p.m. tonight, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The event takes place at the Richmond Convention Center at 403 North 3rd Street in downtown Richmond.
The cost of attendance varies, but you can pay $35 to get in the door for one day, up to $85 for the entire weekend.
Other guests include Ryan Lochte, of team USA Swimming and Gene Simmons from the rock band Kiss.
