BUFFY: Season 8 Issue #36 (comic) Previews feat. James Marsters' Spike

Here are a couple of (SPOILERY) previews for the next Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season Eight comic, Issue #36, with art featuring James Marsters' Spike:

Things have been heating up lately in the Buffy-verse thanks to recent events in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season Eight," but it's good to know the creative team responsible for the hit series is still having fun with Buffy, Angel, Spike and the rest of the gang.

Take, for example, the upcoming cover by "Buffy" artist Georges Jeanty for issue #36 of the series, revealed exclusively to Spash Page by Dark Horse Comics:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Look familiar?

Just in case it's not ringing any bells, here's one of the first posters for "Twilight: New Moon," featuring an entirely different breed of vampire than Angel or Spike.

Twilight: New Moon

Brilliant, eh?

Here's all the official info for the issue, which hits shelves September 1:
